Tim Grosvenor is a British-Madagascan artist, gallery owner, and restaurateur based in Brussels. With a background in Fine Art and a long career in policy research, Tim rediscovered his passion for the art world after a chance encounter led to his portrait being painted by a member of the Royal Society of Portrait Painters.
Now a passionate resident of Brussels, he feels a deep connection to the city's diverse and welcoming atmosphere. He is the owner of Gallery 151 in the lively Matongé neighborhood of Ixelles, a location he chose for its resemblance to London's old Portobello Road. For Tim, art is an iterative journey focused on honing his craft rather than just the individual pieces. He considers himself a "citizen of the world" and is dedicated to contributing to the cultural fabric of Brussels, a city he now calls home.
